Blessings of sodium breeze
stayed heavy on lash, lid and strand
seeking lighted East's tower shaded,
shelter, harmony of capstain clinging
always to coast's mist in July's night
hauled ships ashore to fire's glow
and hope springs on shore
we would know the sea from there
we'd run the sands under. crescent
the cresting mountains' caps shone
their magnesium sparks for
the million suns guiding us
humbly to that
light would lead us home.
